Overview
Pick Me Recruitment is looking for a Food, Beverage & Compliance Manager at a modern, all-day eatery and wine bar which is nestled in the heart of Rosebank’s foodie district. We are looking for an individual with a strong financial and business acumen and experience in growing the sales and profit performance of a high-end hospitality business.
Must be proficient in Micros and Gaap.
Position Requirements
- A relevant Hospitality qualification preferred
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years‘ previous Food, Beverage and Compliance experience in a high-end hospitality environment
- Strong Financial and Business acumen
- Experience in growing overall sales and profit performance
- Build & Implement systems using Tech & IT
- Experience in managing recipe consolidation and food costing
- Experience in improving operational efficiencies & compliance
- Experience in Compliance management including Labour, Health & Safety and Legal
- Experience in Asset Management
- Excellent training and development ability

- Asset Management: GOAL – Implement and maintain a world-class hospitality infrastructure utilising the least down time and most frugal & sustainable use of all assets
- Compliance: GOAL- exceed all labour, safety and legal requirements to match the best of any world class hospitality establishment

Remuneration Guide:
R35 000 – R40 000 Gross
Consideration
Candidates, who are already residing in the local vicinity of Rosebank (Jhb) will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence! No Work Permit applications will be accepted! Applicants, who live in other provinces of South Africa still need to attend personal interviews and if requested to do any cook-offs, will do so completely at their own expense.
