We are currently seeking talented and ambitious chefs to join our Client’s thriving kitchen brigades across Two Restaurants with a focus on various sophisticated dining experiences. 

We are actively recruiting for the following positions:

• Senior Sous Chef: A pivotal role for an experienced leader with a proven track record in fine-dining or high-volume establishments. You’ll be instrumental in menu development, team management, quality control, and driving culinary innovation

• Sous Chef: A dynamic individual with strong leadership potential, adept at supporting the Head Chef and managing daily kitchen operations. You’ll be involved in all aspects of kitchen management and culinary execution

• Junior Sous Chef: An ambitious chef looking to step up and gain invaluable leadership experience. You’ll work closely with the Sous Chef and Senior Sous Chef, honing your skills in brigade management and culinary excellence

• Chef de Partie: Skilled and passionate chefs ready to take ownership of a specific section. You’ll be responsible for preparing and executing dishes to the highest standards, contributing to the overall success of our Client’s culinary offerings

• Commis Chefs: Enthusiastic and eager individuals looking to kickstart their culinary career. You’ll gain hands-on experience across various sections, learning from our talented chefs and developing your foundational skills

• Pastry Chef: A creative visionary with a passion for all things sweet. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing our Client’s dessert menus, from exquisite patisserie to comforting bakes

Position Requirements

• A Formal Culinary Education beneficial
• Grade 12
• Applicants to reside in the local vicinity of the Cape Winelands

Candidates, who are already residing in the local vicinity of the Cape Winelands will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence! No Work Permit applications will be accepted! Applicants, who live in other provinces of South Africa still need to attend personal interviews and if requested to do any cook-offs, will do so completely at their own expense. We handle high volumes of applications daily and will only be able to reply, via e-mail, to candidates who have met our clients’ requirements.
