Overview
Our client, a well-known Wine Estate, situated in the heart of Stellenbosch Winelands, is looking to employ an experienced PASTRY CHEF DE PARTIE to join their team.
We are looking for a creative Pastry Chef de Partie with proven experience in pastry or baking roles, attention to detail, creativity, organizational and leadership skills, recipe development and production planning skills. You should possess in-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, baking techniques, nutrition, and have a formal qualification in Culinary Arts /Pâtisserie. As a Pastry Chef, you are responsible for operating the pastry section of the kitchen. You will be required to plan production, assist in developing season offerings, recipe engineering, stock control and waste management.
