Pick Me Recruitment has an opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper  to join our Client’s team. 

You will excel in this role if you are flexible and able to multitask working at a faster than average speed. Your high level of attention to detail with excellent organisational skills, and the ability to learn and adapt in the environment they work in will be essential.

Core Responsibilities

• Upkeep and cleaning of hotel rooms and communal guest areas
• Perform turndown and general housekeeping services to facilitate a seamless stay for hotel guests
• Exceeding guests’ expectations, from arrival to departure in all areas of their stay
• Ensuring that all guests’ special requests, requirements are communicated clearly and are met by all departments
• Deliver exceptional service
• Thinking out of the box to make guests’ stay exceptional
• Adhere to and maintain Health and Safety standards

Experience & Skill

• Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or similar
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and methods
• Excellent time keeping
• Ability to follow SOP standards
• Attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Impeccable grooming standards
• Personal and professional integrity
• Applicants need to reside in the local vicinity of Franschhoek. 

Position Requirements

• Matric Certificate or equivalent preferred
• Good communication skills in English
• High level of physical endurance
• Ability to work shifts including night shift
• Preference will be given to candidates from Franschhoek and neighbouring areas

Candidates, who are already residing in Franschhoek Region will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence!
