Our client is a luxurious 5-star hotel nestled in the heart of Stellenbosch, situated on a private wine estate. This historic hotel boasts 53 luxurious bedrooms, four unique restaurants, and a tranquil spa with stunning mountain views.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hotel Receptionist to join the team.
As hotel receptionist, you will be the primary point of contact, responsible for managing guest check-ins/check-outs, processing reservations, handling payments, and resolving queries to ensure a curated guest experience.
Key skills include excellent communication, computer proficiency (Opera experience), multitasking, and customer service.
Position Requirements:
- Hotel School qualification will be advantageous
- Previous hotel reception experience
- Computer literate and Opera experience
- Previous relevant hotel experience
- 3rd Language advantageous
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Weekends and public holidays are normal working days
- Must reside near Stellenbosch
- Guest and service centric
- Mature and well spoken

Candidates, who are already residing in the vicinity of the Cape Winelands will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence! No Work Permit applications will be accepted! Applicants, who live in other provinces of South Africa still need to attend personal interviews and if requested to do any cook-offs, will do so completely at their own expense.
