Our client, a new Restaurant in Jacobsbaai, Westcoast, is seeking to employ a RESTAURANT MANAGER and KITCHEN MANAGER to join ther team.  This 160-seater restaurant currently operates Lunch and Dinner. 

The ideal individuals are highly self-motivated, with previous restaurant experience in their respective roles.  Hospitality qualification will be advantageous. We are looking for individuals who is passionate about the hospitality industry, quality driven, natural leadership skills, stable and able to perform under pressure. 

Key Roles

  • The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the overseeing and managing of the Front of House operations, staff management, guest liaison, and all front of house operational duties.  
  • The Kitchen Manager will take charge of the back of house / kitchen operations, be responsible for the staff management, ensuring smooth kitchen operations, food quality control, orders, inventory control, pass management, etc. The Kitchen manager will also be tasked to fill chef / griller duties and be actively involved during service where needed. 

Position Requirements

  1. Local applicants from Jacobsbaai vicinity will enjoy preference 
  2. A formal Education relating to Food and Beverage Management will be advantageous 
  3. High level of operational and interpersonal skills
  4. Minimum of 3 years ‘experience in a similar role 
  5. Strong ability to lead and manage a front of house and back of house teams effectively
