Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented SOUS CHEF at an upmarket Bistro, situated in the heart of Stellenbosch. The menu is an ode to classical Bistronomy.
Minimum Requirements
- Looking for an individual with previous experience as a Sous Chef in an upmarket dining environment, international culinary experience will be beneficial, strong leadership skills, passionate about food and cooking.
- Qualification in Food preparation and Cooking, solid track record, stable, ability to perform well under pressure.
- Own vehicle and driver’s license essential.
Key Objective
- Assist with managing and directing the daily kitchen operations, whilst ensuring food quality and profitability.

Candidates, who are already residing in Winelands Region will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence! No Work Permit applications will be accepted! Applicants, who live in other provinces of South Africa still need to attend personal interviews and if requested to do any cook-offs, will do so completely at their own expense.
