Our client, a High End Food Production Company, situated in Woodstock, is seeking to employ an experienced Sous Chef to assist with the daily flow and operations of this dynamic company.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Sous Chef with a strong culinary and catering background, sophisticated dining experience essential, excellent knowledge of catering operations, familiar with using state of the art cooking techniques, able to assist in leading and managing the preparation and execution of high quality menus. Someone that is forward thinking, resourceful with excellent communication and operational skills.  

It is a pre-requisite to have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport. 

In the role the Sous Chef you will plan, direct food preparation and culinary activities, inventory and supplies management, effectively assist in leading and managing a small focused brigade, with a focus on food quality and timelines.  

Special conditions of Employment

  • Shifts: Mon – Fri: 7am to 4:30pm
  • Fixed Term Contract: April 2024 – Mid-December 2024

Remuneration Details

  • R25 000 – R30 000 pm (based on experience)
