We have a dynamic opportunity for a Restaurant Supervisor at a five-star property in Paarl. 

The ideal individual has a hands-on approach to the restaurant operations, highly service and guest orientated, ability to lead and manage a team effectively, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and has initiative and attention to detail.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sophisticated dining  / hotel environment.

Position Requirements and Experience

  • Hospitality Management Qualification advantageous 
  • Confident and excellent communication skills
  • Hands-on approach to F&B operations
  • Guest and service centric approach
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
  • Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the running of the daily Food and Beverage activities 
  • Being actively on the floor during service to ensure excellent guest interaction and service excellence 
  • Inventory management and supplier liaison
  • Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
  • General administrative duties: managing bookings and enquiries
