Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager / Restaurant Manager to lead our Client’s team at Debonairs in Mbazwana and eventually oversee Steers branch within the group there as well. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant, ensuring efficient workflow, exceptional customer service, and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Debonairs branch, including but not limited to staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and food safety standards at all times.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff members to deliver high-quality service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Manage inventory levels and orders to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase profitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and enhance brand awareness.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations and company guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among staff members.

Position Requirements

  1. Previous experience managing a fast-food franchise or restaurant is essential.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Proficiency in inventory management and cost control techniques.
  6. Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
  7. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  8. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Remuneration Details

  • Remuneration: up to R17 000 (Neg – relating to experience and qualification)
  • 50% company contribution to momentum medical aid 
  • 7% company contribution to momentum provident fund

Candidates, who are already residing in the KZN region will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence!
