We have a dynamic opportunity for a Restaurant Manager at a five star property in Paarl. 

The ideal individual is a hands-on, service orientated manager with previous experience in managing high-end properties. Strong operational skill-set relating to managing a profitable restaurant operation, with the ability to lead and continuously develop staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum of 5 years management experience in a high-end restaurant environment. Hotel experience beneficial. 

The key role is to ensure a profitable Food and Beverage operation. 

Position Requirements & Experience

  • Hospitality Management Qualification advantageous 
  • Minimum of 3-5  years’ experience in a similar environment and role
  • Training and staff performance management ability 
  • Confident and excellent communication skills
  • Hands-on approach to F&B operations
  • Guest and service centric approach
  • Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability 
  • Passion for the hospitality industry
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license is essential 


  • Responsible for the profitability of the restaurant 
  • Responsible for the inventory control (stock takes, back office stock control)
  • Ensure food and beverage costings are in line with KPI’s 
  • Continues staff training and staff performance management 
  • Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
  • General administrative duties: staff rosters, time and attendance, managing bookings and enquiries
  • Staff management and development

Remuneration Details

R25 000 – R30 000
