Overview
Our client, a well-known Wine Estate, situated in Stellenbosch area, is looking to employ an experienced PASTRY CHEFto join their team.
We are looking for a creative PASTRY CHEF with proven experience in pastry or baking roles, attention to detail, creativity, organizational and leadership skills, recipe development and production planning skills. You should possess in-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, baking techniques, nutrition, and have a formal qualification in Culinary Arts /Pâtisserie.
As a Pastry Chef, you are responsible for operating the pastry section of the kitchen. You will be required to plan production, assist in developing season offerings, recipe engineering, stock control and waste management.

Candidates, who are already residing in the Cape Winelands region will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence! No Work Permit applications will be accepted! Applicants, who live in other provinces of South Africa still need to attend personal interviews and if requested to do any cook-offs, will do so completely at their own expense.
