Overview

We have a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Administrator at a sophisticated hospitality portfolio in Franschhoek. You will excel in this role if you are an efficient, solution-driven individual, who has excellent administration and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordinating of the administration processes of the department and the maintaining of asset registers and maintenance schedules, while liaising with suppliers.

Position Requirements and Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in administrative role, preferable in maintenance, stock or warehousing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer Literate (Microsoft Word & Excel & Outlook)
  • Must work in structured and organized manner
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated with the ability to think logically
  • Local Franschhoek candidates would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

  • Logging of all maintenance calls and requests
  • Coordinating with maintenance teams on all responses to requests and issues
  • Maintaining of the portfolio’s asset register
  • Maintaining of the maintenance and service schedule
  • Following up on completion times and providing progress reports
  • Collecting quotations and raising purchase orders
  • Liaise with the suppliers and contractors
  • Assisting the Maintenance Manager and Supervisors with daily duties
