Pick Me Recruitment is looking for a Head Chef  to manage and run the overall kitchen operations of a luxurious 4-Star Boutique Hotel. The property, situated in Kimberley,  offers 21 en-suite bedrooms tastefully decorated with the ambience of a bygone era. The hotel boasts a member’s bar, lounge and dominoes room, an a la carte restaurant, a ladies bar, 3 dining facilities, a reading room and a billiard room.  The ideal venue for functions, weddings and conferences.

Minimum Requirements & Key Responsibilities

  • A formal culinary education 
  • Matric 
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport 
  • Excellent control of food cost, wastage and kitchen preparation 
  • Supplier liaison and inventory control 
  • Ongoing staff training and development 
  • Ensure all OHASA and Covid-19 regulations are met

R12 000 – R15 000 Gross – Based on experience

Candidates, who are already residing in the Northern Cape will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence!
