Pick Me Recruitment is looking for a Chef to look after the kitchen operations of an exclusive Privately owned Game Lodge situated approximately 25km outside the historic town of Kimberley, Northern Cape on the N12. The lodge overlooks a water hole where wildlife sightings are very common and comfortably accommodates up to 32 guests.

The perfect candidate is someone who with previous chef experience in a similar environment, that is resourceful and creative with excellent communication skills and computer literate. A formal culinary education will be advantageous. It is also expected that the candidate liaise closely with guests.

This is a live-in position. 

Minimum Requirements & Key Responsibilities

• It will be expected to liaise with guests

• Hands-on approach to kitchen operations and consistency in food production

• Excellent control of food cost, wastage and kitchen preparation

• Ensure all OHASA and Covid-19 regulations are met

R6 000 pm plus incentives and accommodation provided

Candidates, who are already residing in the Western Cape will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence!
