renowned for its stunning beachfront location, warm hospitality, and exceptional experiences. Offering a blend of rustic charm and modern elegance, our client hosts a variety of events, from weddings and private celebrations to corporate gatherings. The accommodation boasts 27 rooms and is able to accommodate up to 67 guests.
Role Overview
We have an opportunity for a highly organized and customer-oriented Front Office/Accommodation Manager to oversee the daily operations of their front of house. You will have the opportunity to lead and shape the future of one of Yzerfontein’s most cherished destinations.
We are looking for an individual with exceptional skills relating to communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities. The focus of the role is to ensure that guests have a positive and memorable experience from the initial inquiry, check-in to check-out. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations to ensure efficiency and excellent customer service
- Supervise the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities
- Maintain front office policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Handle guest reservations and check-ins/check-outs accurately and promptly
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain precise records of guest information and financial transactions
- Prepare daily reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Manage inventory of office and guest supplies, ordering as necessary
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping staff to provide excellent customer service
Qualification and Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Capability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines with effective prioritization
- Knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of NightsBridge Property Management system will be an advantage
- Positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and ability to adapt to change
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Capacity to work non-traditional schedules, such as weekends and holidays

Candidates, who are already residing in the local vicinity of Yzerfontein will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence! No Work Permit applications will be accepted! Applicants, who live in other provinces of South Africa still need to attend personal interviews and if requested to do any cook-offs, will do so completely at their own expense.
