Overview
Our client, a distinguished Wine Estate with a dynamic hospitality and accommodation portfolio. is strategically based in the Southern Suburbs.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FINANCIAL MANAGER to oversee the financial health and operational performance of various entities within the business. The individual must have a stable track record.
Working hours: This is a HYBRID position. At least 2 days per week office based. (40 hour work week).
This role requires strategic planning, a strong business and financial acumen, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This individual needs to be able to work well with team members at various levels within the business, from junior accountants to the COO / Owner.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial reporting on Wine, Accommodation and Property Development
- Weekly financial reports
- Monthly management accounts
- Consolidated group reports
- Annual preparation/drafting of AFS
- Annual budget and forecast tracking
- Debtor and Creditor Management
- Collection/management of debtor accounts
- Loading payments to suppliers
- Stock management (Wine and Lodges Divisions)
- POS management and integration (to Xero)
- SARS and other submissions, IT, ProvTax, PAYE, VAT, UIF, WCA
- Staff recruitment, development, HR, performance reviews, etc
Position Requirements
- 5 Years’ Financial Management experience
- Recognised Accounting qualification / CA
- Technologically skilled with competent working knowledge of MS Office (Excel in particular), and general accounting software such as Xero
- Highly organised and detail-oriented with strong financial acumen and excellent time management skills.
- Results driven with strong communication skills; proficient in presenting reports and financial information to others
Remuneration details
R45 000 – R65 000 CTC (Based on experience)

Candidates, who are already residing in Cape Town will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence!
