We are seeking EXPERIENCED WAITERS and a BARMAN to join a new dynamic team in Stellenbosch. 

It is a pre-requisite that the prospective candidate resides in STELLENBOSCH area. The role is to provide excellent wait service, taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages. Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional info with restaurant guests. Experience working in a sophisticated restaurant environment and exceptional wine knowledge will be advantageous.

Minimum Requirements & Key Responsibilities

  • Relevant Tertiary Education will be advantageous
  • Individuals must be well trained with a great track record
  • Candidates must be guest and service centric
  • The position requires work on weekends and public holidays
  • A minimum of 3 years waiter experience essential
  • Great wine knowledge, a CWA or WSET will be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Contactable references
  • Must reside in Stellenbosch area
  • Able to maintain excellent service levels at all times
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent timekeeping, professional and focussed
  • Any other duties related to this position 
  • Ensure all Covid-19 and Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to

Candidates, who are already residing in the Western Cape will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence!
