Our client , a well known Catering Company in Somerset West, is seeking qualified Demi Chef / Commis Chefs to join their dynamic team.
A diploma in professional food production * Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence * Must be able to work flexible hours * Must be able to work weekends and public holidays * Good understanding of catering requirements * good knife skills * must reside in Somerset West or surrounding area.
Key duties and responsibilities
Event mise-en-place * Assist with set up and breakdown of events * maintain health, hygiene and safety requirements * proper food storage and rotation * any other duties related to this position * extreme attention to detail.
R6 000 – R7 000 pm
Candidates, who are already residing in the Western Cape will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence! No Work Permit applications will be accepted! Applicants, who live in other provinces of South Africa still need to attend personal interviews and if requested to do any cook-offs, will do so completely at their own expense.
