We have exceptional opportunities for talented hospitality professionals to join the pre-opening team of an elevated and exciting new Burger Eatery, strategically located in Cape Town. The eatery is scheduled to open towards the end of July 2025. Service offering include sit-down, take-out and home deliveries.
If you are passionate about the hospitality industry and committed to delivering exceptional service, with preferably previous experience gained in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and a team player with strong communication skills, we would like to hear from you.
We are recruiting the following positions:
- Restaurant Manager
- Assistant Manager
- Griller
- Chipper
- Co-Ordinator / Expediter
- Cleaner / Prep Cooks
Key Position Requirements:
- Relevant hospitality qualification / training will be advantageous
- Previous experience gained in a fast-paced restaurant environment essential
- Stable track record, with contactable references
- Computer literate
- Candidates already residing in the local vicinity of Cape Town will receive preference
Skills and Experience:
Manager:
- Store financial systems
- Ordering processes
- Opening and closing procedures
- Roster & stock control
- Systems management ie. Loyalty program, UBER EATS, YOCO and Table Management
- Order taking and payment management
Assistant Manager:
- Stock control
- Store hygiene
- Health and safety officer
- Storeroom management
- Expediting / wrapping and packaging
- Uniform Control and issue
Griller:
- Flat top cleaning and maintenance
- Extraction cleaning and maintenance
- Product quality control
- Grilling to order
- Maintaining all grill equipment and stock levels
- Preparing section ingredient checklist
- Prepare packaging for T/O
Chipper:
- Fryer cleaning and maintenance
- Extraction cleaning and maintenance
- Product quality control
- Frying to order and filtration of tallow
- Maintaining all fried products, equipment and stock levels
- Preparing to section ingredient checklist
Co-ordinator / Expediter:
- Dispatch section kept neat and in order
- FOH cleaning and maintenance
- Take away quality control
- Stock Management
- Maintaining all consumables and PAR stock levels
- Preparing to checklist ie. packaging, serviettes, sauces take away
Cleaner / Prep Cook:
- BOH cleaning and maintenance
- Toilet cleaning and maintenance
- Floors and wall cleaning
- Frying to order and filtration of tallow
- Maintaining cleaning products, equipment, chemicals and stock levels
- Preparing to checklist

Remuneration Details

Candidates, who are already residing in the local vicinity of Cape Town will have preference. We can only consider South African Citizens or applicants who hold a valid South African Permanent Residence! No Work Permit applications will be accepted!
